Born in Manhattan, NY, 1962, David lived in Jamaica, Queens until the summer of 1966. At that time his parents, looking for more space, moved to Melville, NY, where David grew up. The oldest of 3 children, David graduated from Walt Whitman High School in Huntington, NY in 1980. Looking to further his education, David moved to Brooklyn, NY where he attended Brooklyn College. Working in Manhattan during the day and going to school at night, David held various positions such as photographer, construction worker and bartender before being introduced to the insurance field in 1988.
Starting as an agent for Prudential, David worked tirelessly honing his newfound profession.
1988 – earned Life, Accident and Health licenses
1989 – earned Property and Casualty license
1992 – earned the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation, awarded by the Life Underwriter Training Council
1999 – earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation
2000 – earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation. Both the CLU and ChFC are awarded by The American College
In 2004, a business opportunity arose with Allstate Insurance Company, where David made the move and opened his current insurance agency as an independent contractor business owner. David is a member of the New City Chamber of Commerce, and he also participates in BNI and other networking endeavors to help to promote his business. With the help of his staff, David currently serves the needs of thousands of policyholders in the community where he works as well as lives.
